Description: A massive blaze broke out wednesday afternoon at the riverwalk at millennium apartment development in suburban philadelphia. A newly built, unoccupied apartment building was leveled. Two other apartment buildings and an office building were damaged -- and hundreds of residents had to be evacuated. It was a fast moving fire. . . I've got all sorts of agencies. . . . Montgomery county. . . Bucks. . Chester. One of those who had to get out was anthony defazio. Ran out of the building with everybody else. . . Came out in the courtyard. . . And saw a towering inferno. Not only did firefighters have their hands full -- the blaze halted service on the commuter rail line that runs through the area. It also snarled traffic on nearby interstate 76. We had to shut down major roadways. . . . We had probably overlays over half a mile. . . To a mile. . . It's kind of congested. . . Once you steal water from mains. . . Each hydrant. . . That hurts the water situation. A firefighter suffering from smoke inhalation -- and a woman who collapsed at the scene --- were taken to a hospital -- but fire officials said their injured were not thought to be life-threatening.
